• Sort DWG Archive by Title Block Fields

    General

A file management program that organizes large drawing libraries based on elements in the title block. In this case, the files are grouped by project address

    Platform: AutoCAD and BricsCAD.

  • Solar Panels Racking System BOM

    Electrical Engineering
    – Duration:
    3
    mo.

This program generates detailed BOM schedules for racking systems by combining drawing data with Excel specification files and formula sheets. It creates BOM schedules in both Excel format and as a summary table within the drawing. The calculation formulas are pulled from an Excel file, allowing the user to update them at any time

    • This module creates circuit data (number of devices, power source, wire lengths to each device) from chains of polylines and blocks. It has a system that links circuits across multiple levels and the detection algorithm was build to manage different drawing standards that changed over time (some drawings had circuit lines were entirely separate, others were merged into common sections to avoid overlapping)

    • A one-click solution for generating voltage drop tables in compliance with state regulations. The module includes two submodules, each designed for different circuit types and table requirements. Both submodules offer customizable settings and editing options, working with table templates that contain predefined formulas. This flexible approach allows templates to be modified at any time to accommodate changing requirements.

    • A module that extracts data from the drawing database, performs calculations, and generates tables. It utilizes predefined formulas while allowing users to adjust specific parameters through a settings panel.

    • The module features an event-aware script that calculates and updates attribute values for block sets linked to specific polylines. This association has the same effect as the associative dimensions but can be customized to execute a wide range of actions

    • This module implements an algorithm to automatically determine the optimal placement for overlapping text. It primarily works with labels as dynamic blocks but can also be applied to leaders and dimensions.

    • A one-click solution to automate drawing using data from imported drawings, text files, and user input. It converts machine-generated drawings into easily analyzable and editable formats or, if the imported design is correct, can be printed right away.

    • The UI system is designed to accommodate a vast array of tools, commands, and parameters, including calculation settings, geometric adjustments, and graphic display options. Built entirely with native AutoLISP and DCL—without relying on third-party solutions like OpenDCL—it ensures full compatibility with all AutoCAD versions from 2010 onward.

    • Tables that include graphic icons in one of the columns, either by using existing blocks from the drawing or auto-generated blocks with hatch samples for legend tables. The module also forces area calculation for compound hatches, which AutoCAD typically doesn’t calculate by default.

    • A tool for generating a string of blocks along a specified path (polyline, spline, circle, etc.) with the ability to interactively adjust the distance between elements. The blocks are linked to the given path, so any changes to the path (stretch, move, copy, erase) will automatically update the linked elements accordingly.

    • A module for importing blocks from a drawing library. Since the blocks serve as icons without meaningful names, the import tool includes a graphic preview feature, allowing designers to visually select the appropriate icon set for their project

  • Cable Trays

    Electrical Engineering
    – Duration:
    1
    mo.

A program that automates the drawing of cable trays for solar panel systems, featuring a user-friendly interface that allows precise parameter customization. It calculates every detail with accuracy and generates a comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) table for the entire project, ensuring compliance with the specific requirements of each cable tray chain.
    Platform: BricsCAD Lite.
